Jewellery by Placement — WIMA PARIS Guide
Choose your WIMA PARIS creations by anatomical zone of the ear: lobe, helix, tragus, conch, daith, flat, forward helix. 18K gold and natural VS/F diamonds, designed for each placement.
Lobe
The entry zone of any composition. Recommended: Sword Stud (vertical opener), Northern Star (second lobe), Round Stud (sober base), small Hoop Forever (mirror classic).
Helix
The upper cartilage. Needle piercing only, long healing. Recommended: vertical Sword Stud, Dancing Marquise on a hoop, Kissing Pears, Pears with Chain to link helix and lobe.
Tragus
Small cartilage in front of the ear canal. Recommended: Round Stud, small Sword Stud, small-diameter ring.
Conch
Central cartilage cavity. Recommended: The Earcuff (no piercing), medium Hoop Forever, Classic Hoop with Pyramid Charm.
Daith
Inner cartilage fold. Reserved for fine, small-diameter hoops, with an experienced piercer only.
Flat
Flat plateau between helix and conch. Recommended: Sword Stud, Northern Star, Pyramid Stud.
Forward helix
Front upper cartilage. Often composed in series of 2 or 3 small studs. Recommended: Round Stud, small Northern Star, Pyramid Stud.
Composition advice
Respect the hierarchy: the lobe sets the base, the helix extends the line, the conch or flat punctuate. Avoid three hero pieces on the same ear. Treat right and left as sister compositions, not duplicates. Always favour material quality — 18K gold, natural VS/F diamonds — over the number of placements.
